The party debuted last year at Stubbs in Austin, Texas. Valentino Khan, NYMZ and Ricky Remedy played the inaugural event alongside the event's founders. Regarding the new location for the second annual edition of the event, the duo said in a press statement: "There's no better place to hold the 2016 edition of HDYFEST than the mind expanding natural beauty and open mindedness of Colorado."

The duo, consisting of J2K (Josh Young) and Autobot (Curt Cameruci), got their start throwing a party series in their hometown of Chicago, so the festival-style longform event with multiple headliners marks a return to their roots as party curators. In a press statement Young and Cameruci explained that the event "is a celebration of all things that make up the world of Flosstradamus - the music, the lifestyle, the HDYNATION."

The concert title of course matches the duo's most recent album title, HDYNATION Radio, which dropped last November and features the thematically-appropriate track "Roll Up." Listen below.

The duo first started using the term HDYNATION (pronounced "hoodie nation") a few years ago to lovingly describe their fans and to brand their movement-like ecosystem of a scene. HDYNATION was also the title of a tour two years ago.

As Run The Trap points out, the trap duo's decision to hold HDYFEST (pronounced "heady fest" in this instance) on a nationally observed holiday celebrating marijuana in Colorado is not a coincidence. Floss and Snails both notoriously bring out particularly hyped and heady audiences, so the lineup combined with the venue and the holiday is the stuff of HDYNATION dreams.

Tickets go on sale this week, Dancing Astronaut reports. Find them here.
