Congratulations are in order! Cole Swindell recently celebrated a huge milestone in his musical career.

On Tuesday (May 27), Swindell celebrated the success of his No. 1 single "Chillin' It." The festivities were held at a party atop the BMI building rooftop in Nashville.

Luke Bryan and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line were in attendance to show support for their good friend.

Swindell's "Chillin' It" co-writer, Shane Minor, was also honored at the event.

According to Country Weekly, Bryan took the stage to congratulate Swindell on his success.

"I'm so proud of him," Bryan said to the crowd. He went on to praise Cole's work ethic and talked about his desire to move to Nashville to pursue a career as a country star. "It's what Nashville is all about–following your dreams. Congratulations, Cole!"

Swindell offered up a few words thanking his mother who was in attendance. He also thanked his support team.

"Since I moved to town, I always wondered if I'd ever get to stand up here and thank everybody," Swindell said. "It's crazy. [Now] here I am on tour with Luke Bryan. It's unbelievable. It means the world to me."

Swindell is also making quite a name for himself as a songwriter with writing credits on three singles now on the charts.

His writing credits include Florida Georgia Line's "This Is How We Roll," Thomas Rhett's "Get Me Some of That" and his own second single, "Hope You Get Lonely Tonight."

CMT reports that "Chillin' It" is Cole Swindell's first No. 1 single as both a singer and a songwriter.
