Jenny Lewis is "Just One Of The Guys" and is proving so with a new Beck-assisted single. In preparation for the release of her new solo album The Voyager, the former Rilo Kiley frontwoman released the album's lead single.

The midtempo indie rock stomper features the slow and steady strum of a guitar and a constant, firm drumbeat, keeping time just like a good ol' fashion metronome. Though the driving, timekeeping instrumentation is the main force of the song, Lewis' always mildly country-twinged vocals give this stomper a bit of that classic indie rock edge.

There's something inherently laidback about this track, which helps Lewis' case that she tries very hard to be "Just One Of The Guys," despite whatever it is that's holding herself back from getting there 100 percent.

Oh, and there's a little Beck on this single too. The Morning Phase musician helped to co-produce this track and offers up some very prominent backing vocals during the rousing chorus.
