Conor Oberst is currently on tour with Dawes, and together, the musicians made a pit stop in Lexington, Kentucky this past Saturday evening. During his set, Oberst was joined onstage by My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James.
Together, the team played "At The Bottom of Everything" and "Roosevelt Room" – the latter of which also featured Dawes.
James, who hails from Kentucky, initially made a surprise appearance on Dawes' "Peace In The Valley" before coming back for Oberst's set.

This isn't the first time James and Oberst have appeared together on the stage. The duo, along with the ever so talented M. Ward and Mike Mogis, are part of the group Monsters of Folk, which formed back in 2004. The group released their self-titled album in 2009, which was received very well.
Oberst's tour will continue through the summer and round out midway through October.
