Divorce rumors about Beyonce and Jay Z will not stop the stars from taking their careers to the next level as Beyonce has shown with a recent performance at Blue Ivy's school of her own rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You."

The 34-year-old singer graced the Center for Early Education’s 75th Anniversary Gala in Los Angeles on March 5 with amazing performances for the crowd. Her 4-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, is reportedly attending the school, Huffington Post reported.

Wearing a sequined black and gold mini dress in zebra print, the star belted out one of the hit songs from the late Houston, flawlessly hitting every note including the falsetto in the chorus.

Her performance indeed proved that her nickname Slayonce is just right for her as she slayed every note of the all time hit song which was first released in 1992.

Aside from “I Will Always Love You,” the star also sang some of her biggest hits, which include “Crazy In Love” and “XO," while she danced along with backup dancers, just like what fans would see at every Beyonce performance. Cosmopolitan added that Queen Bey also performed another Houston hit, "The Greatest Love of All," for the parents and staff at the gala.

During the show, she also expressed her love for The Center for Early Education, which is described as a “socio-economically and culturally diverse independent school for children, toddlers through grade six,” according to their website.

This isn't the first time that Beyonce covered a song from the late diva. Hollywood Life, who called the songstress a Whitney Houston pro, reported that she also mashed up the song with her "Halo" track during the 2013 The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. She also sang the song as a tribute for Paul Walker the year that he died.

Currently, Beyonce is getting ready to kick off her Formation World Tour in Miami on April 27.
