When fans saw the remaining members of The Eagles with Jackson Browne perform "Take It Easy" at the Grammys, which was probably now the last time they will see all of them together. In light of the recent death of founding member Glenn Frey, Don Henley spoke to BBC Radio 2 and said that it was band's "final farewell."

"I think it was an appropriate farewell. I don't think you'll see us performing again," he revealed after.

In the interview, Henley revealed that they almost didn't do the performance at the Grammys because of the emotions involved. It was "very difficult and very emotional," he explained.

Henley, along with Joe Walsh and Browne, who helped write "Take It Easy," performed the song as a tribute to Frey at the Grammys just under a month after he died.

Grey died on Jan. 18 at the age of 67. He had been battling intestinal issues that caused the band to postpone their Kennedy Center Honors.

Henley and Walsh have each established themselves as successful solo acts, releasing multiple albums and going on long tours, so the legacy of Frey and The Eagles will live on, but if Henley's comments hold true, Feb. 15 was the last time anybody will see them all on stage together.

The Eagles have sold over 150 million albums worldwide and racked up six Grammy wins. They were inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame as the class of 1998. Their albums Hotel California and Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) are among the top 20 selling rock albums of all time in the United States.
