SBTRKT it has been a long minute. Born Aaron Jerome, the UK-based producer, DJ and live performer has unveiled a brand new song with The-Dream titled "Good Morning" that they are giving out for free. Since his 2014 album Wonder Where We Land, he has unveiled snippets of songs and some demos, but nothing official. This is the first taste of what he has been working on for an official release.

As premiered with Zane Lowe as today's world record, the track showcases the smooth synth melodies that SBTRKT likes to put together. The-Dream's vocals seem to glide right over SBTRKT's ethereal instrumental. It is a smooth ride from start to finish that captivates the listener from the start and doesn't let until it is finished 3 minutes and 48 seconds later. The combination works well, but not as well as some of his others like Sampha.

Speaking to Lowe, Jerome spoke about the chemistry that he and The-Dream had in the studio. "I've worked with lots of new collaborators along my journey as being SBTRKT, but to find someone who fitted so well into my world was a real revelation."

He says that he recorded some other songs with the Atlanta singer and songwriter, but it isn't clear what will happen to them.

Unlike in the past, SBTRKT is just focusing on writing new singles instead of a complete album.

This is the first official release from SBTRKT since his 2014 Wonder Where We Land LP, which featured Sampha, Ezra Koenig, A$AP Ferg and Raury, among others.

To top things off with the release of "Good Morning," SBTRKT is giving away the new song for free. Head to his website and give him your country, city and email address in return for the freebee.
