If you're a fan of guitar-heavy indie rock and over-night internet famous cats, we have the best news for you! Surfer Blood and Lil Bub are releasing a split 7" on May 17, 2016, through Joyful Noise, with all proceeds going to the cancer treatment fund for guitarist Thomas Fekete.
The ailing guitarist has recently seen some positive news, but we're sure that the funds from this split will go a long way for his treatment. It's great that Lil Bub's team is on-board with this idea, which sounds like a lot of fun!
We previously reported on the van break-in that resulted in stolen funds for the guitarist last year.
According to Pitchfork, the A-side track by Surfer Blood is entitled "Evil Cat," while the B-side has the track "Bub the Builder" by the adorable cat. You can find out how to buy this split 7" right here.
