Hot Hot Heat are getting ready to say goodbye, but the indie rockers are going out with a bang. On Tuesday (April 5), the Canadian four-piece announced its new - and final album, a self-titled release that is set to harken back to its celebrated first two albums Make Up the Breakdown and Elevator.

Hot Hot Heat is set to be released on June 24 via Kaw-Liga Records, according to a press release, with 10 new tracks that will be contain the sort crunchy hooks that made fans fall in love with Hot Hot Heat in the first place.

This is already clear in the album's lead single "Kid Who Stays in the Picture," which was premiered via Noisey. Featuring a killer bassline that bops and beams at its core, "Kid Who Stays in the Picture" also brings in an infectious beat and with the signature snarky vocal stylings of Steve Bays.

The album will be seen as a dedication to the band's fans and to Hot Hot Heat's 15 year legacy.

"To be able to tour from 1999 to 2014 and play hundreds of shows a year was amazing. It changed all of our lives. It was the greatest experience I could ever imagine. I can relate to our fans and I respect our fans. They are the kind of people I'd hang out with," Hot Hot Heat Bays said in a statement. "I'm proud of every single record, and of finding the ground between making it challenging and fresh, but also not being afraid to be entertaining and put on a crazy show. Every show we ever did was just a total high energy spectacle and that's a great legacy to have."
