David Bowie's death is still fresh in our minds, but so is his final album, Blackstar. This week, the record's artwork designer, Jonathan Barnbrook, who often worked with Bowie over the years, released a unique visual for a new single, "I Can't Give Everything Away," in the form of a music video. Despite the icon's death, his music will live on forever, which is exemplified in this new music video. You can watch it right now.

The music video for this heartbreaking song is full of great visuals that are as subtle as the Blackstar artwork, coming from a world created by the album, according to the artist.

"This is really a very simple little video that I wanted to be ultimately positive," Barnbrook explained, according to Consequence of Sound. "We start off in black and white world of [Blackstar], but in the final chorus we move to brilliant color, I saw it as a celebration of David, to say that despite the adversity we face, the difficult things that happen such as David's passing, that human beings are naturally positive, they look forward and can take the good from the past and use it as something to help with the present. We are a naturally optimistic species and we celebrate the good that we are given."

The visuals also include a number of the song's lyrics, so you could think of it as a lyric video, but it fits very well as a substitute for the late singer. Though we don't see him in the video, Barnbrook's visual art is so connected to the artist that it feels like he's still around, and heavily involved in the "I Can't Give Everything Away" music video.
