Former Crosby, Stills and Nash (and sometimes Young) member Stephen Stills is reportedly working on a new memoir, making him the last of the four to put out his own book.

The guitarist recently told Rolling Stone, "I'm writing one now. And it's a b*tch. It's the hardest f*cking thing in the world! I mean, there's writing and there's typing. I'm so frustrated with my computer that I'm going to get a f*cking Selectric typewriter and organize this thing like I was taught to do in school."

Stills has been working on the memoir while touring and is determined to write the entire book himself without the help of a ghostwriter –– which is the typical approach for a memoir. Yet, as untraditional as it seems, the rock star asks why wouldn't he write it himself? "I got an 800 verbal on my SAT. Dammit, I'm writing it myself. Why would I use a ghostwriter? Do you want a 300 page People interview?" Touché, Stills. Well played.

As proficient a guitar player as he proves to be, it appears his knack for the keyboard leaves much to be desired. "I've learned you can't write on a computer on a bus," he says. "It jiggles too much, especially an Apple. The keyboard jiggles around too much and there are too many typos. You spend all your time backing up."

Rage-filled technical issues and stereotypical aging references aside, the musician has had such an illustrious career that it'll be difficult to encompass it all into one book; therefore, he's sworn to stick to the "best stories" throughout his days in music, touching on Buffalo Springfield; Crosby, Stills and Nash; and hopefully much more.
