KCON, the largest U.S. representative for the huge niche market of K-Pop, has announced its lineup for the 2014 event. G-Dragon and Girls' Generation will be the biggest acts at the two-day festival, taking place in Los Angeles during early August.

The first act is a repeat of last year's edition, although it's tough to call anything from G-Dragon as "repetitive." The leader of boy group BIGBANG, the performer set out on releasing his first solo album last year, and previewed the release by performing with Missy Elliott at KCON. The rapper was featured on the pop star's single "Niliria" from Coup d'Etat Pt. 1

Between his One of a Kind EP and Coup, making him the first K-Pop performer to land two successive efforts onto the Billboard 200, and his recognizability helped him land a guest spot on Skrillex's "Dirty Vibe."

Girls' Generation has had similar success in the United States. The nine-member pop group has the record for the highest charting K-Pop album in Billboard 200 history, as 2012's Twinkle peaked at no. 126. The group of course is even more popular in its native South Korea, where it's topped the list of Top Female Singers published by the Leespiar Popularity Survey for the last four years.

Additional acts include SPICA, another girl group that will be making its debut American performance.

The event will take place at the Memorial Sports Arena. Check out the full lineup below.

08/09: G-Dragon, IU, Jung Joon-Young, Teen Top, VIXX

08/10: Girls' Generation, B1A4, BTS, CNBLUE, SPICA

All-caps titles is a popular theme this year.
