Ultra Music Festival has become one of the largest global festival brands with over 20 events in countries around the world. It seems to keep itself in the news with announcements almost weekly about one festival or another and the latest comes from Ultra Singapore that just completed its 2016 lineup with names like Alesso, ZHU, W&W and Above & Beyond.
The second phase also includes supporting acts Carnage and Gryffin It also unveiled the Resistance stage, which has become a staple of the underground leanings of the festival with names like Matador, Nicole Moudaber, Reboot, Shaded (Live) and Technasia all performing.
The second wave of artists join the previously announced headliners such as deadmau5, Kygo, Jauz, Axwell /\ Ingrosso and Marshmello who are set to descend on Singapore in just over a month.
Ultra Singapore will take place at Ultra Park on Sept. 10-11.
More acts will be announced in a third phase that will presumably include local acts that Ultra likes to include in the fold. This gives the festival a more authentic feel to those who have never been to a major dance festival locally.
Last year's lineup included Ansolo, Mija, Nicky Romero, Skrillex and two-time performer Alesso. Last year the festival sold out in record time, leading organizers to expand from one day to two.
Tickets are on sale now via the festival's website with varying level of access to the grounds available.
