President Barack Obama has shared the songs that make it to his summer playlist. It includes selections from the likes of Chance The Rapper, D'Angelo, Leon Bridges, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday and more.

The summer playlist is split up into two different times of the day, thus different moods.

It starts out with the "Songs for the Daytime, which has an eclectic selection of hip-hop, rock, R&B and much more. There are classics from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Beach Boys and Prince, but one can tell he has kept his ear on the ground during this presidency and can curate in between the rigors of the United States Presidency. Other songs come from Aloe Blacc, Leon Bridges, Wale, Courtney Barnett and Gary Clark Jr. The "Songs for the Nighttime," keeps many of the same themes going, but with a bit of a twist. There are tunes from the likes of Janet Jackson, Tower of Power, Chance The Rapper, D'Angelo and Billie Holiday. Now that we have the POTUS summer listening, we just need to see what the First Lady has on her rotation right now. The playlist is available to stream on Spotify. Some of the artists included were stoked to be added by the President of the United States.
