UK electronic music trio Above & Beyond have announced a special show in New York City over Halloween weekend. The trio will take over Pier 94 on the west side of Manhattan for the annual Pier of Fear celebration that is put on by RPM Presents.
Above & Beyond will headline the festivities on Friday, Oct. 28. Further details about who will support them that night are unknown, but it wouldn't be a stretch to presume that someone from the Anjuanbeats family might be in tow.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, Aug. 26 at 12 p.m. EST. Tickets will range from $55-$200. Pick up tickets for the Halloween show here.
Above & Beyond is the first artist to be announced for the 2016 Pier of Fear celebration. RPM presents generally does a few days or even two weekends full of shows packed with big name acts. In the coming weeks, further acts will be announced.
Entering its fifth year, Pier of Fear has hosted names like Knife Party (twice), Krewella, Armin van Buuren, Skrillex, Marshmello, Adventure Club and Calvin Harris.
Before Above & Beyond can fly to New York, they will head to Amsterdam at the end of September for the live broadcast and celebration of ABGT200. The celebration for the 200th episode of their Group Therapy radio show will take place at the Ziggo Dome. The group will be supposed by Yotto, Grum, Jason Ross, Cubicolor, plus Andrew Bayer and Ilan Bluestone going back-to-back.
This show will be much different from the last time the trio was in New York City. They took over the Beacon Theater for a three night stand of their Acoustic show, bringing along several singers and a full band. This will bring back the CDJs and electronic music.
