Everyone's favorite clocking-wearing rapper / reality star Flavor Flav reportedly celebrated the Fourth of July with his annual bash, a BBQ and two citations for setting off illegal fireworks.

The Public Enemy hype-man's party was interrupted around 8 p.m. on the night of the Fourth by authorities after neighbors allegedly phoned in complaining, saying the rapper had "three or four pallets of fireworks stacked 4 feet high," as the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Unlike most years, Flav chose to set them off all at once in hopes that the police wouldn't be involved.

After arriving, law enforcement confiscated 100 plus pounds of fireworks – that were not yet set off – and slapped the Flavor of Love star with two citations. They've yet to name the exact citations.

Lt. Ken Romaine told the press that a special unit was brought to the Via Ventura Court property because the number of explosives was so high. Flav, aka William Drayton Jr., admitted, "I don't want to go to jail for fireworks," and "We had a ball until the police came."

This isn't the first run-in Flav has had with the law in regards to fireworks. Just last year, his party plans were halted when TMZ reported that he was attempting to set off nearly $8,000 worth of fireworks. After going live with the details, Metropolitan Police warned the artist that should he set them off he would be thrown in jail. Therefore, in order to keep his traditional party going, he chose to move it elsewhere.
