Major Lazer has churned out some of the biggest hits of the past year and a half like "Cold Water," "Lean On" and "Light It Up." Now the trio is getting into the holiday spirit with a new single "Christmas Trees" that leads a new compilation for Diplo's Mad Decent label.

The new stoner-friendly, holiday single features Jamaican reggae artist Protoje on vocals as the trio put together a song that has a typical dancehall Major Lazer build. Then it flips into something a bit different with some future bass synths and accordions. This isn't going to be a chart-topping single, but if you want a little extra Major Lazer holiday cheer between now and New Year's Eve, "Christmas Trees" might just be the tune.

The new song is just one of ten on the freshly minted A Very Decent Christmas 4 compilation. The rest of the compilation features nine other EDM-tinged tracks that are primarily covers of various Christmas carols and classic songs.

They come from artists on the label and other affiliated acts such as 4B, Bad Royale, DJ Douggpoung, Aylen and Jan Level.

The compilation features some hip-hop cuts, house covers and electro-tinged tracks from various artists on Diplo's Mad Decent label. This is the fourth edition of this compilation. They describe this compilation as "the official soundtrack to your post-apocalyptic holiday season."

The entire compilation can be streamed below on SoundCloud and purchased here.
