Beyoncé, Prince and David Bowie were among the top searches musicians globally according to Google's 2016 year-end results.

Queen Bee topped the list of the 10-most Googled songs with "Formation" and was the most Googled artist as well. Other top songs include Prince "Purple Rain" at number two, Rae Sremmurd "Black Beatles" at number three as a result of the mannequin challenge, Drake's "One Dance" at five, Adele "Hello" at seven at Disturbed with their Grammy-nominated cover of "Sound of Silence" at nine.

Beyoncé was the most searches artist globally, followed by Céline Dion, Kesha, who has been in the news for her trial with Dr. Luke, Kehlani, and Coldplay at five. Kanye West comes in at eight, though that will probably creep up with his recent movements.

Prince and David Bowie top the very somber list of celebrity deaths in 2016. Other names in the top 10 include Gene Wilder, Alan Rickman, Jose Fernandez and Christina Grimmie.
