Don has said many times that he believes God put him on this planet to be "an architect who designs products and events to help people experience God’s presence in a new and fresh way." He believes that people often mistakenly decide that "worship equals music and music equals worship." He says, "The songs we offer up in worship are just a small part of a whole lifestyle of worship. Yet, we have made an industry out of the music we sing. A lifestyle of worship is something we live out 24/7, not just on Sunday morning. Worship is prayer, preaching, testimonies, God’s Word, caring for others, and of course, the songs we offer in praise and worship."
To put those beliefs into action, Don founded Worship In Action, a Nashville, Tennessee based 501-C3 charity that has a long-range plan to provide "hope for the poor, aid after natural disasters, and care for orphans around the world."
Currently, Worship In Action provides food and safe drinking water for the 190 children of Royal Seed Home in Ofaakor, Ghana. A donation of $25.00 per month guarantees every day one less child goes to bed hungry.
Don asks fans to help and make their own worship an actionable event. You can donate, become a partner or host a fundraiser. As the ministry grows, there will also be chances to intern or volunteer at Royal Seed Home in Ghana.
