Miley Cyrus is showing her ardent support for the victims of the Parkland shooting at the "March For Our Lives" demonstration to end gun violence.

On Twitter, the pop singer and actress asked her 40 million followers to listen to "Shine," a song written by two of the survivors of the school shooting, Sawyer Garrity and Andrea Peña.

"Please support the powerful message of change, unity and healing from student survivors of the #StonemanDouglas shooting," she said on a tacked tweet on her social media page. "Listen to their song #SHINE & be a part of the movement to help end gun violence!"

Cyrus is only one of the many celebrities who have voiced their support for the demonstration which was a response to the Feb. 14 massacre at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. The event killed 14 students and three teachers.

"March For Our Lives" was coordinated by the survivors.

"We're gonna have four major independent women that are standing with us and walking beside us, and those are Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus, and Demi Lovato," said David Hogg, a survivor of the shooting. "They're gonna be standing there with us and marching with us and they're some of the few people that are really coming out and stepping with us."

Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney, director Steven Spielberg, and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey have also made their support known by donating money for the march.

"I wanted to be able to bring kids from all over the country who wouldn't be able to afford to get to the march," Winfrey explained after handing $500,000 to the cause.

Britney Spears, Zac Efron, Ellen DeGeneres, Ava DuVernay, Adam Scott, Amy Schumer, Bette Midler, Nicole Scherzinger, Chelsea Handler, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Justin Bieber, Mariah Carrey, Jenna Fischer, and Julianne Moore are only a few of the myriad of celebrities who have shown their full support for the massive demonstration.

All proceeds from the purchase of "Shine" will be donated to the SHINE MSD Fund that will benefit victims and their families through community mental health programs.

"March of Our Lives" will take place on March 24, 2018 in Washington, D.C.
