Imagine being on vacation, taking a day at the pool to just relax. You're chatting with friends and the topic of music comes up. You mention that you aren't a fan of (insert style of music - in this case, country).

You look up and see a couple of guys looking at you. As you're on the trip with your two best friends since middle school and you're all celebrating your 50th birthdays, two 30-something guys that are staring is a little odd.

Now imagine that those two guys are none other than Jake Owen and his personal trainer and they're headed your way!

That is exactly what happened to life-long friends Ellen Casey, Nancy Sitarz and Terri Smith last weekend. The three moms were celebrating turning 50 with a weekend trip to Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connicticut. As the three ladies were having margaritas by the pool, the conversation shifted to music. That was when Terri said that she hated country music. Jake was close enough to hear the comment and like a super hero, he sprang into action! He sat down with the gals and they chatted for about an hour, with Owen buying them all drinks and lunch. As he got ready to leave, he asked which one of them was the "responsible one" and said that there would be tickets to his show that night at the will call window in her name.

According to People, Terri didn't believe that there would really be tickets but they went to the show just to see. Not only were there tickets waiting for them, there were great tickets waiting on them! (Can you see floor seats?)

But the fun (and the transformation of Terri) didn't end there. During the show, he told the audience about meeting a group of ladies at the pool earlier that day. Then he asked, "Where's Terri?" and proceeded to tell the crowd how he was eavesdropping and overheard her say that she hated country music. He pulled the three friends up on stage and they got to watch the rest of the show from the tiki bar on stage.

Terri may have started out hating country music and she may have even been a little embarrassed at being called up on stage, but by the end of the show, she had decided that not only does she like country, but she's now a huge Jake Owen fan! "It's a weekend we'll never forget!" she shared.
