Rae Sremmurd teams up with Pharrell Williams on the song called "Chanel." The track will be featured in the duo's forthcoming triple album SR3MM.

The project is split into three parts: a self-titled album by Sremmurd, a Slim Jxmmi solo album called Jxmtro, and a Swae Lee solo compilation called Swaecation. "Chanel" also happens to be the second song from Jxmtro, and it follows the recently released song "Brxnks Truck."

Mike WiLL Made-It, who produced SR3MM, said that the album will consist of 27 songs. It will be released on April 27. Jxmmi also confirmed that Sremmurd will collaborate with Future, Young Thug, Travis Scott, and Zoe Kravitz on the three albums.

Rae Sremmurd's Split?

Jxmmi also said that even though he and his brother plan to pursue their own musical careers, they will continue to release songs as Rae Sremmurd.

"People have to understand, me and Swae are brothers, we've been doing this for a long time. It's just time for us to grow our separate careers and also our group still [and] building on that - it's no reason not to," said Jxmmi.

Who Is Rae Sremmurd?

Rae Sremmurd is an American hip-hop duo made up of Jxmmi and Lee. The group was formed in 2013 after they signed a record deal with EarDrummers. Two years later, the duo dropped their debut album SremmLife, and it was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

A year later, the siblings released their second album StremmLife 2. Also in 2016, they put up their own record label StremmLife Crew Records.

Some of Jxmmi and Lee's most popular songs are "Black Beatles," "Powerglide," "No Type," "Swang," "No Flex Zone," "This Could Be Us," "Look Alive," "Come Get Her," "Throw Sum Mo," "Perplexing Pegasus," "By Chance," "Real Chill," "Up Like Trump," "T'd Up," "Now That I Know," "Lit Like Bic," "YNO," "My X," "Unlock the Swag," "Start a Party," "Set the Roof," and more.

Rae Sremmurd Talks About New Album

Last month, the duo opened up about their upcoming album StremmLife 3.

"It's the best music we've ever made. Of course, we've still got StremmLife 1 and 2 flavor, but we're giving y'all [expletive] y'all never heard from Rae Sremmurd before. It's just gonna be a surprise - every song you hear you're gonna be like, 'Damn, what the [expletive]?' And all the production is crazy..." said Lee.
