Lil Uzi Vert reveals the real reason behind the sudden cancelation of his performance at the Quebec Festival on Sunday.

According to him, he was not allowed to enter the country.

He told his fans via an Instagram live stream on Young Thug's account that he tried his best to go to the show but was unable to do so due to reasons beyond his control. In his video, Lil Uzi Vert also said that he could have just gone to the Billboard Music Awards on the same day, but he decided to go to the festival instead.

"Trying to be good, they always say I'm missing shows and s***. Try to go to Canada. Could have went to the motherf****** Billboard Awards. Could've threw some drip on," said the rapper.

The festival also released a statement announcing Lil Uzi Vert's absence and said that the rapper faced some issues with the Canadian customs.

Lil Uzi Vert's Fans Vandalize Stage

Even though Lil Uzi Vert and the festival organizers had no control over the decision of the Canadian customs, fans of the rapper decided to vandalize the festival stage when they learned that Lil Uzi Vert wouldn't be performing.

A video of the fans knocking out sound equipment and vandalizing the stage went viral online. One of the festival goers also said that Trippie Redd and Ski Mask the Slump Dog's performances also got canceled earlier that day.

Lil Uzi Vert's Grammy Awards Interview

Earlier this year, Lil Uzi Vert made headlines at the Grammy Awards. Host Giuliana Rancic asked the rapper how he was feeling that time, and he said he was feeling "normal." Rancic also asked if he was excited for the show that night, and Lil Uzi Vert simply answered, "Yep."

The rapper received a nomination for Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance at that time, but he did not seem enthusiastic about the awards show.

"This is normal. This is my life. It's like, whatever," said Lil Uzi Vert.

Lil Uzi Vert is an American hip-hop artist whose real name is Symere Woods. He gained recognition after he released his debut single "Money Longer" and several mixtapes including Luv Is Rage, The Perfect and Luv Tape.

He previously collaborated with Migos on the US Billboard Hot 100 song "Bad and Boujee." Last year, he released his debut studio album Luv Is Rage 2. Most recently, he teamed up with Travis Scott on the song "Watch."
