On Sunday, July 22, the "Delicate" singer bake a cake in honor of her celebrity best friend who has grown a year older this weekend. She shared her creation via Instagram Story.

The cake covered in pink frosting has the words "Gomez or go home," a play on the birthday celebrant's last name. It also has "26" written inside a white heart.
"Will I let distance stop me from celebrating my best friend's birthday?" she wrote on the caption. "I mean I could but why would I want 2."
Swift is currently in New Jersey preparing for an upcoming show as part of her reputation stadium tour. Gomez, meanwhile, is currently in California where her other close friends threw her a surprise party.
Grace VanderWaal shared photos from the intimate event on Instagram. According to E! Online, Gomez and other female friends were at the Forum in Inglewood to watch the "Beautiful Thing" singer who opened for Imagine Dragons on Saturday, July 21.
In one photo, Gomez can be seen standing in the middle of a room and covering her face while her friends, including VanDerWaal, watches her. The 26-year-old also gave her singer friend a hug in a few other photos.

Swift met Gomez over a decade ago during a Jonas Brothers concert when they were dating Joe and Nick respectively. Since then, the two have been inseparable.
Earlier this year, Gomez joined Swift onstage at a concert in California to talk about their enduring friendship over the years.
