Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson

Before landing what might be her biggest role yet, Paris Jackson started her career as a model in March 2017. She modeled under IMG Models, a New York-based international modeling agency home to some of the most well-known personalities, including Hailey Baldwin, Cara Delevingne, and Chrissy Teigen.

Paris later made her debut in acting with a guest-starring role as "Rachel Wallace" in the Fox TV series "Star," where she appeared in the first two seasons. She next made her film acting debut with the 2018 crime comedy flick "Gringo," led by David Oyelowo and Charlize Theron.

She also formed "The Sunflowers" in 2018 with musician Gabriel Glenn and first performed their original songs "In the Blue" and "Daisy" at Canyon Sessions on June 23, 2018. Both Jackson and Glenn sing, though Paris plays the ukulele, and Glenn plays the guitar. The pair was spotted kissing and walking arm-in-arm together in Los Angeles in August 2018.

Being Michael Jackson's daughter

Paris opened up on what it's like being the daughter of the King of Pop in a 2017 interview with Rolling Stone. She discussed being raised in a "very open-minded house." She then shared an anecdote when she was eight years old and in love with a female magazine cover.

Paris then shared her father's emphasis for tolerance, "Instead of yelling at me, like most homophobic parents, he was making fun of me, like, 'Oh, you got yourself a girlfriend.'"

Paris also shared that Michael Jackson liked to call her "Tinker Bell," prompting her to have the words "FAITH, TRUST AND PIXIE DUST" tattooed near her shoulder.

"I just love people for people"

In July 2018, a fan asked on Paris' Instagram page whether she is bisexual. She replied, "That's what you guys call it, so I guess but who needs labels." She also posted a picture of her holding a cigarette. It comes with a statement that she came out when she was 14 and has referred to the community as 'my fellow LGBTQ+' on stage before."

In a separate Instagram post, Paris said that she's "not bisexual," and she "love people for people." She also said that she does not label herself and asked people not to label her.
