Juice WRLD's team has finally released the rapper's latest song "Tell Me U Luv Me," featuring Trippie Redd, Friday, May 29.

"Tell Me U Luv Me" was produced by Nick Mira and Pearl Lion, frequent collaborators to the late rapper-songwriter. The song explored Juice WRLD's intertwining thoughts on drugs and finding love against a fast-paced R&B and hip-hop rhythm. His team has uploaded the song on Juice WRLD's YouTube channel, featuring the cover art of the single with the two artists standing in front of a vehicle.

"B***h, I'm a druggie (B***h I'm a druggie), so can you hide my drugs from me?/ And when I get lonely (When I get lonely), can you be my company?" the late Chicago MC raps on the first verse.

Trippie Redd, meanwhile, softens the thoughts his collaborator narrates in the verses with his chorus. The 20-year-old artist croons in his trap music-laced style: "Tell me you love me, tell me everything gon' be okay."

Leads to an upcoming Juice WRLD album

"Tell Me U Luv Me" marks the second collab between WRLD and Redd released posthumously. The first one, "Righteous," released just a month ago, debuted strong and gave the late artist his first posthumous top 10, opening at the No. 2 spot of the R&B/ Hip-Hop Songs chart, No. 5 at the Hot Rap Songs, and No. 11 on the Hot 100. Its anime-inspired music video has already raked in more than 36 million views on YouTube as of this writing.

Both "Righteous" and "Tell Me U Luv Me" pave the way for Juice WRLD's upcoming posthumous album, confirmed by his mentor and friend Lil Bibby last April 9. Furthermore, Juice WRLD's online store has already put up merch related to the recently-released single. Also stated in the site was that all proceeds would be donated to the Live Free 999 Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by WRLD's mother, Carmela Wallace, to help young people who are struggling with mental health.

Lucid dreams gone too soon

Juice WRLD first found fame with his hit singles "All Girls Are The Same" and "Lucid Dreams," signing with Interscope as well as Lil Bibby's Grade A Productions. The two hits were included in his debut album "Goodbye & Good Riddance," which was a platinum-certified album and spawned more hits like "Armed and Dangerous" and "Wasted."

The then-21-year-old artist, whose real name was Jarad Anthony Higgins, died on December 8, 2019, shortly after the private jet he was on landed at Midway International Airport in Chicago, IL. Juice WRLD experienced a seizure that led to a collapse and later, death. It was later revealed to be an accidental overdose.

In a statement, his mother addressed the rapper's struggles with substance abuse and his mental health. His death also led fans and news outlets to note how he foreshadowed his death. Juice WRLD released a track in 2018 called "Legends," which he dedicated to fellow artists XXXTentacion, who died a few months prior at 20, and Lil Peep, who overdosed in late 2017 at the age of 21. "What's the 27 Club? We ain't making it past 21," Higgins rapped.
