2015 iHeartRadio Music Festival - Night 1 - Show Musician Chris Martin of Coldplay performs onstage at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Festival at MGM Grand Garden Arena on September 18, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This year's iHeartRadio Fest faces considerable challenges when it comes to audiences. However, the show will go on, albeit virtually said Variety. The president of entertainment enterprises for iHeartMedia, John Sykes, elaborated on the company's procedures to ensure the safety of artists. Only a limited set of approved crew will be allowed to the band tapings, and the stages will be scrubbed down for the next-day perfomance.

Sykes said that they have been reimagining since March 29 when they ran a Living Room Concert after the iHeartRadio Music Awards was canceled. According to Variety, Sykes ensures artists' safety by putting a Zoom suite of fans in the event so artists can look out and see, but fans won't be in the same space as the artists. iHeartRadio management will assign a production team in a parking lot, and artists have the venue to themselves for the whole day.
