John Travolta will try to rewrite the history as he comes back to the stage of the Annual Academy Awards following his "Adele Dazeem" blunder.

Multiple news outlets, including EW, confirmed that Travolta has been announced as one of the presenters of the upcoming 94th Academy Awards.

According to producers Will Packer and Shayla Cowan, the "wickedly talented" singer would work alongside Mila Kunis, Wesley Snipes, and more during the Oscars telecast.

The upcoming Oscars will be broadcast live on ABC on March 27, and the event might surely recall the flub Travolta committed before.

What Does John Travolta's "Adele Dazeem" Mean?

The hilarious blunder happened at the 86th Academy Awards in March 2014. At that time, Travolta mispronounced Idina Menzel's name as "Adele Dazeem" as he introduced her "Let It Go" performance from the hit animated flick, Frozen.

The mistake immediately led to the birth of mockery and non-stop ridicule online.

Still, later in the show, Menzel took revenge by introducing Travolta: "Please welcome to the stage, my very dear friend, Glom Gozingo."

Travolta reappeared on stage and corrected himself, reciting his line but calling Menzel's name right this time.

Late-night hosts became the noisiest group who kept Travolta jokes going. For instance, Jimmy Fallon and Conan O'Brien repeated the mistake soon after the Oscars ended.

The "Tonight" show said that the viewers call him Jimmy Fallon, but John Travolta refers to him as Jelan Fejallah instead. O'Brien did the same, saying that the actor calls him Kevin Ozeem instead.

Despite the ridicule, Menzel revealed Travolta had already apologized for mispronouncing her name. Still, she clarified that the flub was the greatest thing ever happened to her.

Speaking with James Corden in the "Late Late Show" Carpool Karaoke segment (via Today), the "Frozen" voice actress said that Travolta apologized to her numerous times. The actor reportedly sent her emails and flowers to make it up for her.

And though she called it the greatest thing that happened, Menzel said she was indeed left devastated by the blunder.

"First I felt really sorry for myself, like Meryl Streep's out there, this is my big break and he just f**ked up my name, she hilariously recalled. "I was so nervous, I had meditated on this moment, I was gonna sing to my son to put perspective on everything, and then that happened and it all went out the window!"

Fortunately, Travolta has since learned from it and might not commit a similar incident at this year's event.
