Olivia Rodrigo has been a trending subject at the 2022 Grammy Awards, and this is due to a variety of factors.

Minutes after winning her Grammy award, the Disney Channel actress broke down in tears. The special celebration in Las Vegas on Sunday night saw her take home about three gongs, including the Best Solo Pop Performance, the Best Pop Vocal Album, and the Best New Artist categories.

During her performance on stage, the singer also played her famous song, "driver's license," which she delivered to a standing ovation from both the stadium crowd and those watching at home.

The "Déjà vu" singer, on the other hand, was left looking ashamed in the winners' room. When she made a catastrophic error, she dropped one of her trophies, which caused it to be broken - literally - in the same way that Taylor Swift destroyed one of her Grammy awards back in 2010.

Olivia Rodrigo said in one of her victory speeches that her triumphs were the fulfillment of her "greatest dreams."

She expressed gratitude to the Recording Academy, as well as to her friends, parents, and producer Daniel Nigro.

Aside from her three Grammy Awards and her encounter with a member of the boy band BTS, Olivia Rodrigo was also recognized at the 64th Grammy Awards for her spectacular gesture at the red carpet.

Olivia Rodrigo Red Carpet Grammys 2022

Olivia Rodrigo chose to walk the red carpet with a sign language interpreter on April 3, according to People.

After being nominated in seven separate categories, the 19-year-old singer-actress becomes the first prominent Filipina-American artist to win all three categories, making her the first of her generation to do so.

Aside from the flood of congratulatory words that flooded in for her on social media, a large number of fans praised her for taking the conscientious step of bringing an American Sign Language (ASL) translator to the red carpet with her.

"Olivia Rodrigo being the only performer on the carpet to have a sign language interpreter however...," one fan said on Twitter. "I'm madly in love with her."

Another person said on Twitter, "She's earning Grammys and our hearts, Olivia Rodrigo brought a sign language interpreter to the Grammys Red Carpet-an tremendous step forward in the industry's commitment to diversity.

The name of Olivia's translator is presently unclear, but she was seen standing alongside her while the singer conducted interviews to media in Los Angeles.

With similar gloves, Olivia Rodrigo completed her look with a Vivienne Westwood dress in black with pink accents.
