Megan Thee Stallion is kicking off "Hot Girl Summer" by performing at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. She surprised her fans by rapping a freestyle song seemingly inspired by a hip hop legend and allegedly about her ex-boyfriend, Tory Lanez.

According to The Source, online fans have expressed their thoughts on the Houston native's unreleased freestyle.

The track might sound familiar to some as it samples "Freak'n You" remix by Jodeci and WuTang.

Twitter Error

Before hitting the stage, Megan took to her Twitter account to tease fans about performing the song, writing, "I got this song that I recorded and every time I play it for a woman they start jumping and clapping I think I wanna perform it at Coachella for the first time before I actually drop it."

Many users were happy about the song as they claimed that her rap flow was inspired by the iconic Lil Kim.

As of this writing, the legendary hip-hop artist has not commented on the matter.

On the other hand, Megan has not confirmed whether the song was inspired by Lil Kim or not.

Megan Thee Stallion's New Song About Ex Torey Lanez?

According to Fox Bangor, the 27-year-old rap royalty seems to have addressed her legal battle and relationship with her ex-boyfriend Torey Lanez.

Although her track was not subtle and contained profanity in its lyrics, Megan refrained from naming names.

"This song is very m************ personal to me, and it's to whom the f*** it may concern, and I really feel like my ladies with f*** with me on this one," she said before the beat dropped.

The outlet noted that the song could be about being a strong independent woman and empowering people, but it could also be a diss about her ex.

The speculations on the song come a few weeks after Torey Lanez was arrested after Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge David Herriford agreed that some of Torey's online posts appeared to be directed at Megan.

Torey was then taken into custody for allegedly violating the terms of a protective order.

The judge ordered that the rapper should stop publicly sharing the case or his ex-girlfriend, especially on social media.

Initially, the artist was charged with shooting Megan in Hollywood Hills two years ago.
