On Sunday, The Weeknd played at Coachella's third night. He was, however, enraged as he performed.

He ended the show, although he seemed to notice that the audience was dwindling as the weekend came to a conclusion.

Videos of the "Save Your Tears" hitmaker's performance leaked on social media, revealing his annoyance with the audience.

In one video, Abel Tesfaye can be heard attempting to energize the crowd before yelling, "Are you trying to end the night right now?"

One Twitter usersided with The Weeknd, pointing out how silent the audience was throughout his performance.

"Abel being furious at the Coachella crowd is 10000 percent valid," they tweeted. He's putting on such a wonderful show, and they're so boring."

Another argues that the "Starboy" singer deserves a larger audience and that Coachella is infamous for having "dead crowds."

As previously reported, Kanye West's replacement for the Coachella music festival has been confirmed as Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd.

The "Donda" rapper backed out of the festival just two weeks before he was scheduled to close up the first weekend."

The former Mr. Kim Kardashian did not give a reason for his withdrawal from Coachella, although the decision came weeks after his social media debacle.

Kanye did, however, threaten to withdraw if fellow headliner Billie Eilish did not apologize to Travis Scott.

The rapper believes the "Bad Guy" singer insulted Travis, whom Kanye planned to bring out at Coachella after she interrupted a show to assist a fan just a few months after the Astroworld Tragedy.

Billie stated that she "literally never mentioned anything about Travis" and was merely trying to help a fan.

The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia, on the other hand, debuted many Dawn FM compositions and played his verse from the Kanye duet for "Hurricane" at the festival.

"Crew Love," "Low Life," and "Or Nah" were also sung by the award-winning singer-songwriter.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Swedish House Mafia also stated that he and The Weeknd were always planning on performing during the group's set, but becoming a headliner provided them with a larger budget and even more creative flexibility.

Swedish House Mafia was originally set to perform after Harry Styles' headlining slot on Friday night.

Meanwhile, The Weeknd has put his impending HBO program on hold in order to play as a headliner with the electronic trio.
