Is DaBaby all right?

At about 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, a house invader trespassed on his $2.3 million North Carolina mansion, according to TMZ

The rapper was apparently at home at the time, yet he is accused of being the triggerman who shot the trespasser.

According to the report, the 30-year-old, whose actual name is Jonathan Kirk, shot the burglar in the leg after exchanging words.

"I shot him in the leg," during a six-minute call, a guy allegedly told a 911 operator.

"Okay, and why did you do that?" the dispatcher inquired.

"He's trespassing on my land," the guy, who is thought to be DaBaby, informed the operator.

"I'm not sure why he's here. What he's here for, and what he's here to do."

"Until you men arrive, he's neutralized."

Authorities describe the gunshot as an "isolated event" with "no danger to the community."

Officials also said that no arrests had been made, and the trespasser is likely to live after DaBaby shot him, as he was transferred to a medical facility by Iredell County EMS to be treated for his wounds.

However, the probe is still in "ongoing state," as they refused to disclose any other details.

"I can confirm the shooting did not occur inside the home and that Mr. Kirk was on the property," stated police chief Josh Watson.

Between 2019 and 2020, police visited the nine-acre property, which has a large pool, full-sized basketball court, chef's kitchen, theater room, and a wine cellar, 30 times, according to ABC News Radio.

DaBaby's management refused to comment, although the eight-time Grammy nominee hails from North Carolina.

DaBaby Scandal

This is the second time DaBaby has been in the headlines for the wrong things.

During a concert in Miami this summer, he made false and nasty remarks about homosexual men and HIV.

The rapper also informed concertgoers about the erroneous claim as well as other sexually transmitted illnesses that may kill individuals in a matter of weeks.

Later, celebrities such as Elton John, Madonna, and his partner Dua Lipa, as well as LGBTQ+ organizations, denounced his remarks. Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus contacted DaBaby in the hopes that they might "learn from one other."

He then apologized for his statements, claiming that he was ignorant and needed to be educated on the subjects. However, it seemed that it was too late, as he was instantly pulled from other music festivals and canceled by social media users in the aftermath of the issue.
