Did Billie Eilish call Cardi B weird during the Met Gala afterparty?

A video of Eilish seemingly shading Cardi B at the Met Gala afterparty has been shared in multiple media outlets. The clip in question shows the "WAP" singer hyping the attendees as she tells the crowd, "Tonight we're gonna have fun, make sure y'all get y'all drinks, make sure y'all get y'all little -."

It then cuts to Eilish looking in Cardi B's direction before telling a friend, "She's so weird."

This caused fans to assume that the two artists had just started a Met Gala drama and beef after the event.

However, both of them have since set the record straight.

Cardi B, Billie Eilish Responds to Reported Feud

When the video reached Cardi B. she immediately shared a screen recording of her conversation with the "ocean eyes" hitmaker.

"I hate the internet cause one, how do y'all turn one of the most lit parties into drama? Two, Ocean eyes is the song I cater to my daughter. Three,Billie is my fuckin baby.Yesterday, from the met to the party, everything was drama free. Why do yallwanna turn everything into mess?" the rapper captioned her post.

In the audio exchange, Eilish can be heard saying that she was worried that Cardi B would see the clip. She then explains what led her to say the word "weird."

The singer was reportedly calling the people around Cardi B weird since everybody was rushing to her and shoving their1 phones. The rapper then tells her how the internet is trying to divide them before calling her "my baby."

It was not the first time people made an issue out of Eilish's statement, though.

The public also accused her of shading Travis Scott when she helped a fan who appeared to be in distress during her concert in Atlanta.

Eilish was seen stopping her number and pointing at one girl who was seemingly getting crushed. She became aware that the woman was having trouble breathing, so she immediately asked her team whether they had an inhaler and instructed the stage crew to get the concertgoer out of the crowd.

At one point in the video, she seemingly aimed at Travis Scott following the rapper's fatal Astroworld Festival in November.

"I wait for people to be okay before I keep going," she said.

Kanye West immediately defended Scott and said that Eilish should apologize to the rapper. He even threatened to leave Coachella if she refused to tell her sorry.

But the singer just told the "Jesus is King" rapper that she never said a thing about Scott and was helping a fan.
