A day after announcing Jen Majura's departure from the band, Evanescence has found a new guitarist to fill in her slot. They also added a new bassist to the group ahead of their highly-anticipated tour this year.

According to Loudwire, the band's latest lineup consists of Tim McCord on guitar and Emma Anzai of Sick Puppies on bass.

The group shared the announcement on their social media accounts, writing, "after 16 years in the band as our rock solid bass player, Tim is taking a turn on his original instrument."

McCord has been a part of the group since 2006, and he's only been playing the bass until today.

"And on bass, it is our extreme pleasure to welcome the incredibly talented Emma Anzai of Sick Puppies! We've been friends and fans for years, and the time has finally come to join forces," they added.

The band also noted that Anzai would be pretty busy performing for two bands in one night as some tour dates include Evanescence and Sick Puppies in the same lineup.

Jen Majura Exits Evanescence

The latest lineup comes a day after the band shocked fans by announcing that Jen Majura would be parting ways with them after playing for years.

The gothic group said they had cherished a "very special chapter" with the musician, but they decided to part ways.

They expressed their gratitude, saying they enjoyed the good times and music they created over the years.

Majura later took to her personal Twitter account to clarify her exit, saying her departure wasn't her personal decision.

"I have no hard feelings against anybody and I wish Evanescence all the best. I am allowed to carry beautiful memories of these past years, I am grateful," she concluded.

Evanescence Collaborates With Within Temptation for 'Worlds Collide' Tour 2022

After being postponed numerous times, Evanescence is ready to hit the road again with Within Temptation for their highly-anticipated "Worlds Collide" tour.

They were supposed to kick off their first show in March 2022 but were rescheduled later this year.

In February, the band clarified that they had no choice but to reschedule the dates because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Passes, tickets, and VIP packages that were initially purchased would remain valid for the rescheduled dates; venues for the concerts have also not changed.

The tour dates, locations, and tickets are available on worldscollidetour.net.
