Porno for Pyros marked their first full performance in 26 years during the reunion Perry Farrell set.

The Welcome to Rockville festival on Sunday hit a glitch after several performers did not make it due to several issues, including inclement weather.

But for Farrell, nothing could stop Porno for Pyros from making a return.

After nearly 26 years, the band appeared together again at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona, Florida. Farrell managed to reunite the bandmates - including Mike Watt, Peter DiStefano, and Steph Perkins.

Jane's Addiction was supposed to perform on stage. However, the Porno for Pyros replaced them due to Dave Navarro's "long bout with COVID-19."

Still, the band played some of Jane's Addiction's songs to shower fans with an epic performance.

"But for now let's recall: My boat's capsized it's gonna sink to the bottom. I can see the lights on the shore," he went on.

Porno for Pyros also performed several hit songs from their 1993 debut album and 1996 follow-up project, "Good God's Urge." Their setlist includes "Porpoise Head," "Pets," "Tahitian Moon," and "Cursed Female," to name a few.

Aside from Jane's Addiction, several bands - including Guns N' Roses, Korn, and more - were forced to cancel their appearances due to bad weather conditions.

Meanwhile, despite Jane's Addiction's absence, the band is set to make a return to the stage in October for the Spirits On Fire tour.

Porno for Pyros x Jane's Addiction History

Porno for Pyros first joined the music industry in 1992 following the split of Jane's Addiction. The alternative rock band welcomed Jane's Addiction, two former members - Ferrell and Perkins.

Although the members have been focusing on different bands despite their success, they marked their reunions multiple times in the past decades.

In 2009, the original lineup got together to perform at Farrell's 50th birthday. Years later, DiStefano revealed that the band would reunite in 2013.

However, fans never heard from them since then.

In 2020, they finally reunited at the Lolla2020 - a free four-night YouTube broadcast event. This led the band members to plan on the new project again.

Their last release, "Good God's Urge," led Farrell to take the group in a trippy direction.

"With Good God's Urge Farrell works his magic again. He and his band mates... have made a singularly enchanting disc, filled with majestic instrumentation, evocative lyrics and an ethereal vibe," critic Aidin Vaziri said, per MTV.
