Noel Gallagher's next album is almost right around the corner. Despite throwing in some controversial comments he has thrown in the past weeks, his reputation in music still speaks for himself as fans are still anticipating the upcoming record.

The album that he is yet to release is the sequel to his band's 2017 hit album, "Who Built The Moon?."

Is Noel Gallagher Impersonating THIS Music Icon?

Artists, especially those who have been in the business for so long, have developed their own ways on how they survive the grueling long hours of brainstorming, writing, and recording their music.

For Noel Gallagher, he has to channel a specific music icon in order to get in the groove for his upcoming album.

Daily Star reports that the former Oasis member impersonates Pop Music icon David Bowie when writing his new songs for his next album. (via Music News)

"To get the song out of myself, like on 'Pretty Boy', it's like this sounds like Bowie. I'd sit up late at night doing the voice, 'If this song sounds like David Bowie, then I'm going to sing it like David Bowie until I've written it'," the musician says.

Aside from David Bowie, the 54-year-old singer also revealed that some of the songs on his new album sound like Mick Jagger, and The Cure, among others.

Proud of the songs he has written for the highly-anticipated album, the "She Taught Me How to Fly" hitmaker admitted that this is by far the best music he has ever put up.

"I have to say the two tunes I've done over the last couple of weeks are easily the best of the High Flying Birds stuff I've done, one of them is just f****** 'wow', I even amaze myself sometimes," the frontman boasted.

The musician also hinted that the album would probably take a different sound as it would largely contain "orchestral sounds" - contrary to the psychedelic tunes that "Who Built The Moon?" offered.

Noel's band, High Flying Birds, is trekking a string of UK shows this summer of 2022. This includes a performance at the Dreamland Margate next month.
