Many fans are still mourning the death of Taylor Hawkins so as his family. Today, his wife and family members have finally broken their silence following the music legend's unexpected passing.

According to Us Weekly Magazine, the late drummer's wife Alison Hawkins took to the musician's social media accounts to issue a statement.

Alison began by expressing her gratitude to all the fans of Foo Fighters and her husband for their "outpuring of love."

She noted that their kindness have been a comfort for her family after the legend passed away.

"As Taylor's wife, and on behalf of our children, I want to share how much you meant to him and how dedicated he was to 'knocking your socks off' during every performance," she added.

She noted that being a part of Foo Fighters for 25 years has been an honor for Taylor and he valued his dream role in the group every minute he's working with them.

"Taylor's endearing spirit and deep love of music will live on forever through the collaborations he so enjoyed having with other musicians and the catalog of songs he contributed to and created," she concluded.

Alison ended the statement by saying it is up to fans to pay tribute and honor her husband's legacy.

Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts

In early reports, Foo Fighters shocked fans by announcing that they would be performing in shows dedicated to their departed member.

Titled "Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts," the band and the Hawkins family organized two shows on September 3, 2022, and September 27, 2022.

The shows will be held at the Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom, and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.

Foo Fighters is expected to perform their classic songs and some of Taylor's favorite tracks.

The event will also feature an all-star lineup that hasn't been announced yet.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting June 17. More information can be accessed through their official website.

Taylor Hawkins was found dead in his hotel room in Bogota, Colombia two months ago. The drummer was set to perform with his bandmates at Bogota's Festival Estero Picnic.

His cause of death hasn't been publicized yet, but toxicology reports revealed that he had over ten different substances in his system.

Since Taylor's death, Foo Fighters has canceled all of their upcoming performances.
