On Friday night, Jeff Bridges appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to discuss, among other things, Taylor Swift.

The two recently filmed The Giver -- out Aug. 15 -- together and had plenty of opportunities to make sweet music on set.

"Most of our scenes are on the piano," he revealed. "Between setups we broke out the gits [guitars]... We just jammed. It was wonderful."

Fallon was quick to extol the virtues of pop country's hottest name.

"I can't get enough of Taylor Swift, she is unbelievable and talented," Fallon said.

Bridges—perhaps best known as The Dude from 1998's The Big Lebowski—dished on The Giver and admitted that he would rather fight a horse-sized duck than a group of duck-sized horses.

Fallon also asked about Bridges' recent first pitch at a Los Angeles Dodgers game, in which he bowled the baseball in pure Dude fashion.

"No, no, no," Bridges said when asked if it was a sly Coen Brothers reference. "It was misinterpreted. It was a bocce ball reference."

Swift, meanwhile, has been dropping clues for her as-of-yet untitled album that will most likely be released in November, per her usual preference.

On Thursday, she released clue No. 3, which was simply a Yahoo! search bar screen cap. She's also been busy singing to leukemia patients and giving fans burrito money. The follow-up to 2012's Red is highly anticipated, and while no sound bites have been released, Bridges might've gotten a first listen to some of Swift's new material.

"She's so sweet," he said. "She's so talented."
