Fans don't know one thing about Coolio, and recently, his long-time girlfriend made a startling revelation about him.
The iconic rapper's longtime boyfriend alleges he saw other women before his death in an interview with the Daily Mail.
He was who he was, Mimi Ivey avowed. I was aware if he was seeing other ladies.
Since they don't have any secrets to keep from one another, Mimi claimed that they both understood.
"There is nothing that man ever done that he hid from me, she said. We discussed everything. I've known him all my life. We had nothing to hide."
Mimi used Coolio's last name, who's true name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr., and referred to them as husband and wife even though they weren't legally married.
Mimi claimed that she and the rapper of "Gangsta's Paradise" went to the courts and filed the necessary documents to finally be married.
Because "it's simply a piece of paper that doesn't affect how either of us felt about one other," they ultimately opted against getting married.
According to Coolio's desire, Mimi Ivey disclosed that there will be no funeral for him. He will be cremated instead.
The exotic dancer also remembered when she learned about Coolio's passing.
She described to the media how she recalled "air and life" escaping her body.
"I was outside, getting ready to take my son to football practice. All I remember was dropping to my knees. I collapsed."
Last week, Coolio was found dead on his friend's bathroom floor. He was 59 years old.

Coolio Days Before Death
The "Rollin' With My Homies" rapper was seen taking photographs with fans at the Houston airport just before what would turn out to be his final live performance, appearing quite "engaging" as he did so. He was later found dead on the toilet floor.
His set lasted for 30 to 40 minutes.
Coolio Real Cause of Death
While Coolio had a history of drug abuse, it's possible that it wasn't the actual cause of his demise.
The rapper's pals believe that his chronic asthma may have led to his passing, according to TMZ.
He had battled a lung illness for years, sources told the publication, and investigators had recently learned about it.
Although Coolio's official cause of death hasn't been made public as of this writing, initial indications indicate that he had a heart attack.
According to the American Cardiac Association, those who have chronic asthma may be more likely to experience heart rhythm problems.
