It would seem like Kanye West's views on antisemitism weren't relatively new, as he had even done so much worse before by doing what others might actually think as already overboard.

In a The Independent report, podcaster Van Lathan revealed to his podcast that this was not the first time Kanye West had expressed his antisemitism views.

Lathan, who was previously a TMZ reporter, confessed that he was not surprised by Kanye's recent statements about Jewish people.

He also went on to claim that in an interview before, Kanye allegedly praised dictator Adolf Hitler and the Nazis. However, that portion of the interview was apparently cut from the published material.

"I've already heard him say that stuff before. I mean, I was taken aback because that type of antisemitic talk is disgusting. But as far as him, I knew that that was in him because when came to TMZ, he said that stuff and they took it out of the interview," Lathan said in a statement.

The report revealed that he tried to push back on Kanye's slavery statements, which prompted the rapper to profess his love for the late dictator and the problematic ideology. (via HipHopDX)

"The reason they took it out is because it wouldn't have made sense unless they kept in Kanye saying he loved Hitler and the Nazis, which he said when he was at TMZ. He said something like, 'I love Hitler, I love Nazis.' Something to that effect," he further revealed.

Turns out, a Jewish TMZ report stood up to the YEEZY CEO but was then dismissed too.

The "cut" segment was pulled out from an episode of TMZ where Lathan vocally expressed his opinions on Kanye after saying that "slavery is a choice."

Lathan's comments came days after Kanye was widely condemned over his antisemitic statements posted on social media. Meta has already barred him again on Instagram, while Twitter restricted him for violating community guidelines.

Very recently, Kanye was spotted in the red carpet premiere of Candace Owen's new documentary along with Ray J and Kid Rock.

After leaving the show, he was asked by the same publication if he wanted to harm Jewish people because of his statements. Kanye said no, and pointed out that he was angry at Jewish people who run Hollywood, who has wronged him and other Black entertainers.
