Taylor Hawkins' fans saw the Foo Fighters drummer again after his last filmed interview was included in an upcoming documentary.

It has been months since Hawkins tragically died, but his memories still linger with those who loved him. His family, friends, and fans, fortunately, found comfort in the recent tribute concerts dedicated to the late drummer, but they saw him as if he was still alive in an upcoming documentary.

Before his death, Hawkins was still able to have his last filmed interview for the "Let There Be Drums!" documentary. He sat down for a discussion alongside other rockers, including Chad Smith, Stewart Copeland, Ringo Starr, and Jason Bonham.

The Justin Kreutzmann-directed documentary recently dropped its nearly two minutes trailer through Greenwich Entertainment's YouTube channel.

"The world's greatest drummers reflect on the art of drumming and how it has shaped their lives. Features interviews with Ringo Starr from The Beatles, Taylor Hawkins from Foo Fighters, Stewart Copeland from The Police, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann from Grateful Dead, Chad Smith from Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more," the official description reads.

In the trailer, Hawkins takes his time to recollect how it felt like when he played a note as a drummer, saying that there was "a bolt of lightning" that went through his body the moment he sat on the drums. With that, he declares he can never forget that day.

"Let There Be Drums!" which will be released on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV on October 28, was reportedly created by the director "in hopes of better understanding his father and the instrument that defined his life."

The director is the son of Grateful Dead's Bill Kreutzmann.

How Did Taylor Hawkins Die?

Hawkins was found unresponsive inside his hotel room in Bogota, Colombia. Local health officials confirmed that responders were immediately sent to the area to save the patient, who was reportedly experiencing chest pains.

Emergency medicine staff performed resuscitation in pursuit of regaining his pulse and consciousness, but the rapper did not respond to it.

Unfortunately, Hawkins did not make it and was pronounced dead moments later.

Following his passing, Colombia's Attorney General's Office shared a preliminary forensic medical study that detected 10 substances in Hawkins' system through a urine toxicology test. Among the substances found include opioids, THC, tricyclic antidepressants, and benzodiazepines.

Further examination confirmed that Hawkins had been suffering from heart-related issues as the organ weighed double at the time of his death. His heart was reportedly weighing at least 600 grams, which was twice the average of 300 to 350 pounds.
