Nipsey Hussle's death still weighs heavy on his fans, friends, and most importantly, his family three years after the tragedy. The fact that justice cannot be served until now is aggravating the situation, along with the issue on the custody of his child.

The sentencing hearing for the man convicted of murdering beloved Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle three years ago has been postponed.

Eric R. Holder Jr.'s sentencing hearing was planned for November 3 in a Los Angeles courthouse, but the proceeding was continued, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office.

The cause of the postponement was first unknown.

The maximum term he faces is life in jail.

Holder was convicted of first-degree murder in July for Hussle's murder on March 31, 2019, in a parking lot outside the rapper's clothing store in South Los Angeles. He was 33.

Holder was also found guilty of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter after the gunfire injured two additional persons.

Meanwhile, RadarOnline.com has learnt that Nipsey Hussle's family is preparing for a brutal custody battle over the late rapper's 13-year-old daughter Emani. According to court records, Nipsey Hussle's brother Sam, sister Samantha, and mother Angelique are petitioning the court to refuse an ex-request. girlfriend's

As previously revealed by RadarOnline.com, Nipsey's family and Tanisha have fought for years about Emani. Nipsey was survived by his daughter Emani and his son Kross, whom he had with his girlfriend Lauren London.

The only beneficiaries of the estate, the two youngsters are projected to earn at least $2 million. Following Nipsey's death in 2019, his family petitioned the court for guardianship over Emani.

They argued that Tanisha was unfit to be a parent and that they would be better equipped to raise the baby girl. Tanisha originally refused to relinquish custody but ultimately agreed to the agreement. She returned to court earlier this year to pursue custody and the termination of guardianship.

She explained in court records that she agreed to the guardianship in 2019 owing to her "financial limitations" and the family's vow to operate in Emani's best interest.

She claimed that after the agreement was established, the family began using their "financial position and influence to disregard their priorities by controlling the desires of Emani and Tanisha by withholding financial assistance and reducing visitation."

Now, the family of Nipsey has requested that the court refuse Tanisha's motion.

They note that she admitted to substance misuse and drinking problems in 2019. This was corroborated by Samantha, Nipsey's sister, and Rosa, a Children's Social Worker. The acknowledgment was included in a report filed with the court by a probate investigator.

The investigation suggested that Tanisha not be hired owing to her reported alcohol problems, unemployment, and lack of stable housing. Tanisha may now have stable home, but her family says she is still unfit to serve as guardian of Emani's fortune.
