Greta Van Fleet fans may have to wait a little later as the band has recently announced that they would be postponing a couple of shows along the road due to an unfortunate circumstance.

American rock band Greta Van Fleet is composed of three brothers: Josh Kiszka, Jake Kiszka, and Sam Kiszka, along with their drummer friend Danny Wagner.

According to Billboard, the band has postponed four of their shows, a part of their "Dreams in Gold" United States tour.

Greta Van Fleet will be canceling four of their shows, specifically their concerts in El Paso, Texas, Tucson, Arizona, Anaheim, California, and Sacramento, California, on Nov. 8-9 and 11-12, 2022.

In a statement to their fans, Greta Van Fleet vocalist Josh Kiszka shared a piece of rather unfortunate news concerning his health and recovery.

"I just wanted to express how beautiful and how awe-inspiring these couple of shows have really been, truly. Also, unfortunately, they've been rather painful. The last time I spoke with you, I had asked for your understanding; I was dealing with a ruptured eardrum. Unfortunately, while the eardrum continues to heal, it also has continued to cause me great deal of physical pain, which has made it very difficult to perform," he said in a video message.

The last time the band played together with Josh was last Saturday at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. Per Josh, he had been fighting the pain for more than a week already - pushing through every show just to give their fans their well-deserved shows.

"I think I need a period of time for more healing. Unfortunately, that means rescheduling the shows for the rest of this month, which kills me to do this, especially on such a short notice. I'm truly sorry to everyone in El Paso, Tucson, Anaheim and Sacramento. This year has been an extremely humbling experience. I can't begin to thank all of you enough for your seemingly endless support and understanding," he continued.

Meanwhile, fans were assured that their tickets would be refunded for those who would be opting out of the rescheduled dates. However, as of this writing, the dates for the concerts aren't still announced yet. (via Billboard)

Earlier this year, Greta Van Fleet canceled a string of concerts, too, because of the same injury that Kiszak sustained to his ear.
