Words are not failing this time as Ben Platt and Noah Galvin, both who took on the role of Evan Hansen on the Tony Award-winning musical "Dear Evan Hansen," are currently engaged!

Dating since 2020, Galvin and Platt share more than a similarity in their love for musicals; they both played the same character on Broadway.

Originated by Platt, Galvin succeeded his now-fiance at the role after departing the role in November 2017, playing until February 2018 before getting replaced by Taylor Trensch.

Taking to Instagram to share their love for each other, Platt and Galvin posted their photos together, along with the latter's hand, showing off the engagement ring.

"he agreed to hang out forever," Platt captioned, captioning the ballad they famously sang in "Dear Evan Hansen" titled "For Forever."

On the other hand, Galvin posted his own version of the photos and said that: "I said yeehaw and then cried for 7 hours."

Well-wishers came barging into their comment section, incredibly enthused with the wonderful announcement.

"I AM SO HAPPY AND HAVENT STOPPED CRYING," "Funny Girl" actress Beanie Feldstein, also Platt's best friend, commented on the post. Meanwhile, Ariana Grande, who is currently preparing for her role as "Glinda" in the movie adaptation of "Wicked," commented a flurry of face holding back tears emoji on Platt's post.

Rachel Zegler, who performed alongside Platt at the 2022 Grammy Awards "In Memoriam" segment, also congratulated him on the engagement. "so happy for you both!!!!! Congratulations!!!," Oscar winner Arian DeBose also posted.

According to People Magazine, the couple already knew each other five years prior to dating. They confirmed their relationship status in 2020 when Galvin graced the "Little Known Facts with Ilana Levine" podcast.

Platt furthered their blossoming relationship at the "Kelly Clarkson Show" by saying these: "We were friends for five years and right before the pandemic, we finally decided to really give it a shot. We kind of skated around it for a long time."

Galvin, aside from playing Evan Hansen on Broadway, is also widely known for playing Dr. Asher Wolke on ABC's "The Good Doctor."
