This week, after falling down a flight of stairs while preparing a bottle for her 1-year-old son, Lucky Levi, Elle King was forced to postpone three different radio broadcasts. She said she hated to disappoint her fans but she had no choice.

On Thursday, the "Ex's and Oh's" singer used Instagram to send a heartfelt message to her followers in Seattle, Tampa, and Detroit, expressing that she "shares" their disappointment

She added, nobody ever wants to cancel a show, not even her. She said she thrived on stage.

King, 33, stated that she suffered a concussion after falling down the stairs while making a bottle in the middle of the night and knocking herself unconscious.

She added that she attempted to push through and played three gigs, but the journey, the lights, and everything just made it worse. She added that she also wants to express her gratitude to the musicians who filled her slots as well as the radio stations for their patience and on-going support.

The Grammy-nominated singer promised fans that she would make up to them the next year even though she wants to be quiet for the remainder of the Christmas season.

She wants to prioritize being a mom for the time being. Following two miscarriages, King and her fiancé Dan Tooker welcomed their baby in September 2021.

King claims that becoming a mother has improved her despite the challenging process.

In September, the 32-year-old daughter of actor and comedian Rob Schneider and model London King gave birth to her first child, Lucky Levi, with her boyfriend Dan Tooker.

She frequently tweets videos of herself singing children's songs she composed for her son, but she maintains the new album she composed while in quarantine and pregnant has little to do with children.

With the release of her debut album "Love Stuff" in 2015, which featured the tracks "Exes & Ohs" and "America's Sweetheart," King first received widespread recognition.

The album has aspects of rock, pop, punk, blues, and alternative country music, making it simple for King to fit on a variety of festival lineups, such as the KROQ (106.7 FM) Almost Acoustic Christmas in Inglewood and the three-day Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio. In 2016, she appeared on Dierks Bentley's chart-topping, CMA Award-winning single "Different For Girls," and she went from dabbling in country music to immersing herself in it.
