Christmas is coming early! Blink-182 just announced that they would have a new album next year!

Tom DeLonge, the band's newly-reinstated member, dropped the big news on his Instagram.

In a photo of what seemed to be the band's previous gig somewhere, Tom DeLonge was pretty specific with the album release date of the new Blink-182 new album.

"New Album Coming in a few months," Tom posted. The announcement has already amassed more than 60,000 likes and thousands of reactions; mostly, fans are thrilled with the Blink-182 new album.

"Good because I already preordered that sh--t on vinyl!" a fan shared.

"Hurry up. We can't wait a couple months," another user commented.

According to NME, DeLonge revealed that the upcoming Blink-182 new album is something that they have never done before.

"[The album] has some of the most progressive, and elevated music we've ever had. In honesty, I am holding my breath for you to hear these other songs. Edging is fun and a perfect way to remind you of the fun again. But just you fucking wait," he revealed.

The Blink-182 new album details have been revealed sporadically. Very recently, singer and bassist Mark Hoppus teased the new album, which will be a follow-up to "Neighborhoods."

Very recently, the band celebrated the success of their first new single from the upcoming album, "Edging." It now rules over the No. 1 in Alternative Radio charts.

"The next single that's coming is [fire emoji]," DeLonge said in a post.

As of this writing, the Blink-182 new album title has not yet been revealed, but DeLonge affirmed that it was the thee "best album of our career."

The Blink-182 new album release date is also yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, the band's world tour starts on Mar. 11, 2022, which would probably mean that the album would logically drop somewhere between January to February 2023.

Blink-182 will be starting its comeback on stage in South America next year, starting in Mexico.
