Sabbatical?

2023 was welcomed with news of the sudden disappearance of West, as per the Twitter account of Daily Loud.

The account tweeted on Dec. 28: "Kanye West has reportedly been missing and unable to find for weeks according to his ex-business manager. [sic]"

The said viral tweet has since been debunked, but the account is yet to take down its announcement.

Since being published, the announcement has garnered over 13,000 retweets and quotes, 120,000 likes, and 4,000 comments.

Contrary to Daily Loud's announcement, reports noted that West is perfectly fine and definitely not missing or dead.

In fact, the 45-year-old was simply taking a sabbatical from all the chaos he caused after sharing his problematic opinions and views with the public.

This comes after week after week of West coming after people, communities, and companies, like Adidas, George Floyd, Jewish people, and more.

Despite all the negativity surrounding West, he has managed to keep his name in the headlines and everyone is constantly discussing and dissecting his statements.

In fact, amid all the scandal, controversies, and drama, in November, the rapper announced his plans to run for president in 2024, reports say.

It seems like he has no plans of calling off these plans, especially not with all the media attention he's been receiving, and despite all the criticisms against him, there are still definitely some people who are steadfast in supporting him.

Numerous people on Twitter have expressed their support for the disgraced rapper: "I support Kanye West."

"All support to you brother Kanye West," another added.

"He is the G.O.A.T. ...and on some gangsta moves, the man has the entertainment industry on it's knees and did it on his own. 100% in support of YE and his stance on exposing the evil of these people. [sic]"

"I support Kanye West. I appreciate his honesty and he has a solid opinion."
