Prior to Lisa Marie Presley's death, Priscilla Presley was reputedly on the verge of a mental collapse.

The broken-hearted widow of Elvis had her friends terribly concerned since she was trying to deal with Lisa Marie's prior drug issues and her violent court battle with her ex-husband Michael Lockwood.

The 2020 suicide of Priscilla's grandson Benjamin Keough also affected her.

A source at the time stated that Priscilla wasn't just troubled by her family troubles but also the worldwide pandemic in 2020.

She's so overburdened by everything, they said, according to Radar Online. She appeared to entirely disintegrate after Ben passed away.

Priscilla would isolate herself in her room, sob uncontrollably for hours at a time, and even struggle to carry out her daily routine, according to insiders.

The insider said, referring to Priscilla, "She's a disaster."

She keeps canceling appointments. She never fails to visit her mother Ann in assisted living, but she forgets to do so this time. She can't recall anything."

When Lisa Marie Presley passed away on Thursday, Priscilla Presley was at her side.

At her Calabasas home, Priscilla and Elvis Presley's sole child experienced a heart arrest. She was discovered unconscious in her bedroom by a cleaner.

Before the paramedics came, Lisa Marie's ex-husband Danny Keough, with whom Lisa Marie had been residing, attempted to get her breathing.

Before taking her to the hospital, emergency personnel apparently managed to restore her pulse. She was nonetheless declared deceased a few hours later.

Lisa Marie battled alcohol and drug abuse her whole life and even went to rehab many times.
