Miley Cyrus' latest song, "Flowers," has been on top of the charts, and it is the perfect breakup anthem this 2023.
Simply put, the song criticizes her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. The song was really made public by the former Disney Channel star on his actual birthday.
Despite the fact that everyone is aware of the song's reference to the "Hunger Games" actress, sources recently told Radar Online that Miley's current boyfriend, Maxx Morando, was angered by it.
The former "Hannah Montana" actress was reportedly questioned by the 24-year-old drummer about her "obsession" with the handsome Australian celebrity.
According to the insider, Maxx even offered Miley a "ultimatum," telling her to "stop obsessing on Liam and spend more time focusing on [Maxx]."
Maxx is allegedly upset with Miley talking about her ex-husband so much and writing a song in his honor.
Maxx doesn't seem to agree with the 30-year-old singer-actress when she claims she doesn't regret her marriage to Liam ending.
"No one tells Miley what to do, which doesn't bode good for Maxx," the insider claimed.
Miley Cyrus Ignored By Liam Hemsworth
Prior to the release of "Flowers," Miley Cyrus allegedly contacted Liam Hemsworth, according to another story by the source.
Radar Online claimed in December 2022 that the wild child had tried to contact the star multiple times but had been turned down.
This is because Miley wants to engage in some "emotional healing" and wants to rekindle their friendship. They had known each other since 2009, after all.
Liam regrettably doesn't want to be involved with Miley.
According to the insider, Liam isn't answering her calls or messages and has made it obvious that he doesn't want to speak to his ex-wife.
After nearly 10 years of dating Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth filed for divorce from her in 2019. Additionally, this came a year after their nuptials in 2018. Their divorce was finalized in January 2020.
