Seven months after being denied a reservation at the prestigious New York City restaurant Carbone, Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey, were finally seated there. Is this because the singer earned millions by selling his whole music catalog?

In June of last year, the 28-year-old pop sensation and the 26-year-old model were famously turned away from the restaurant Carbone, where a plate of their famous hot rigatoni vodka costs $32.

Both were photographed approaching the restaurant on Tuesday, mere hours after Bieber's announcement that he had sold his music collection for an astounding $200 million.

Despite the financial windfall and their success in securing a table at one of New York City's trendiest restaurants, the couple entered the restaurant with a glum expression.

On almost every day picked 30 days in advance, Carbone's reservation website humorously informs users, "We presently do not have any tables available." Culinary enthusiasts may always purchase jars of Carbone's four red sauces (marinara, tomato basil, roasted garlic, and arrabiata) for $37.96 on Amazon.

The nine-year-old high-end restaurant is owned by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, and Jeff Zalaznick. Justin wore a dusty pink Cherry jacket, which costs $828 from the Los Angeles-based business. He wore the jacket over a white shirt and paired it with huge white polka-dotted black slacks.

The "Sorry" singer complemented his ensemble with a black cap and black shoes with wide brown bottoms. Hailey's leather ensemble appeared to consist of a tiny black leather biker jacket and a larger black leather topcoat. She had a white button-up shirt underneath that was covered, and she paired the jacket with black heels with pointed toes.

The daughter of Stephen Baldwin wore her shoulder-length, brown hair parted down the middle, framing her thin, violet-tinted sunglasses. She accessorized with a gray handbag in the shape of a croissant.

All of Justin Bieber's merchandise has been sold out. In every way! He's puled a Bob Dylan move for sure, but at more than half the man's age.

Hipgnosis Song Management, backed by private equity, reportedly paid a lot of money to acquire the publication rights and master recordings of Justin Bieber's complete discography. Universal Music Group has retained the recorded-music copyright.

The catalogue is top notch, authentic American pop via Canada, but neither side can disclose the exact amount. Billboard reports that the number is just over $200 million. Musicians at the end of their careers, who can look back on their discography and say, "Sure, use those songs in car commercials, or whatever," seem to gravitate toward catalog sales.

It's unclear whether by doing so at just 28, Justin Bieber is already retiring.
